KRISPROLLS AU SAFRAN & PISTACHE... SAFFRON & PISTACHIO BISCOTTI
Le safran et le chocolat est une bonne combinaison... n'hesitez pas de vous servir de la crème au chocolat pour tartiner les krisprolls.
Saffron and chocolate is a great combination... so don't hesitate to serve the biscottis with this chocolate cream. For recipe in english, stroll down a bit.
pour environ 25 krisprolls
100 g de beurre
0,9 g safran
150 d de sucre
350 g de farine
2 oeufs
1 1/2 càc de levure chimique
50 g d'eclats de pistaches torréfiées
cassonade
20 cl de crème liquide
200 g de chocolat noir cassé en morceaux
1 noix de beurre
1 pincée de sel
Préchauffez le four a 175°
Faites fondre le beurre avec le safran dans une casserole a feu doux.
Mélangez la farine, le sucre, la levure et les pistaches.
Versez le beurre fondu dans un saladier, rajoutez les oeufs et fouttez.
Incorporez la farine petit à petit...
Faconnez la pâte en 3 longueurs.
Couvrez une plaque avec une feuille de papier de cuisson et disposez les rouleaux dessus.
Saupoudrez d'un peu de cassonade.
Faites cuire au four pendant 25 minutes.
Sortez les rouleaux et baissez la température à 125°.
Coupez-les en morceaux d'un cm.
Remettez-les au four a cuire encore 10 minutes.
Laissez les refroidir dans le four.
Faites chauffer la crème avec une noix de beurre. Mettez le chocolat dans un saladier puis versez la crème. Ajoutez une pincée de sel. Fouttez jusqu'à ce que le chocolat soit bien fondu.
Mettez au frais.

50 g roasted,unsalted and cruched pistachios
brown sugar
20 cl cream
200 g chocolate
a knob of butter
a pinch of salt
Preheat the oven at 175°
In a pan, melt the butter with the saffron on low heat.
Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Pour the melted butter in a bowl, add the eggs stirring.
Add the flour mixture gradually.
Shape the dough into 3 lengths and sprinkle some brown sugar.
Put the lengths on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 25 minutes.
Take them out and put the oven at 125°
Cut them into 1 cm parts and put them back to bake for 10 minutes.
Let them cool in the oven.
Heat up the cream over a medium heat, then add a knob of butter.
Break the chocolate into pieces, then add the hot cream and a pinch of salt by stirring.
Let it chill in the fridge.
